Put one QR code near the cake. Guests scan it and send what they took, and it all lands in one album you can download in one go.

Where to put the code
Next to the cake
Everyone’s phone is already out for the candles. That is the moment to ask.
On the drinks table
People stand there with a free hand, which is when they actually scroll back through their photos.
In the thank-you message
Send the guest link the next day for anyone who forgot. The album keeps taking photos.
What helps
- For a kids’ party, it’s the parents who have the photos. Put a card where they wait at pickup.
- If it’s a surprise party, make the album in the guest of honour’s name and keep the host link to yourself until the day.
- Ask for videos too. The happy-birthday singing is usually a video, and videos up to 200 MB each go through.
Questions
- Is 100 photos enough for a birthday party?
- For a party of 20 to 30 people it usually is. For a bigger milestone birthday, the Party pass ($19, once) raises it to 500.
- Do guests need an app?
- No. The code opens a web page in the phone’s own browser, with one button to choose photos.
- Can guests see each other’s photos?
- No. Guests can send photos but only you, with your private album link, can see and download them.
